Robert sold us our 1st home three years ago and we were so impressed with him at that time that when were ready to buy again Robert was our 1st call. He patiently showed us over 25 houses and listened carefully to all our requests. Over the 3 months we were working together he was always honest and professional with the advice he gave us. Robert is the best Realtor I have worked with. I worked with him for a year before we found our home. He never pushed us to go above our self-imposed budget, even though it made finding something we liked difficult. He actually listened to us as we described why we were looking and what we wanted - instead of insisting on purchasing a “starter home” because “it’ll go up in value in 2 years and then you can get the one you really want” as all the others keep saying. He was understanding when we decided to postpone our house search due to budgetary constraints. He always made us feel that if the house felt right to us, that’s the only time we buy; regardless of how much longer it might take to find another one. Finally, he worked tirelessly throughout the entire home purchasing process – calling school districts for us, staying on top of the loan and escrow documents, even re-negotiating w/ the sellers as issues came up during the home inspection. Robert dedicated so much of his time and went above and beyond in the process of selling their house. I can't say enough about Robert. We met him through friends, and he has patiently worked with us for about 3 years on and off. In those years, he showed us houses from Glendora to Monrovia to Pasadena to Altadena. He was patient with us when we called off our house hunting and then restarted it again (at least 2-3 times during this period). When we finally got serious this year, he helped us put in offers on 2 other houses before we finally got the house that was truly "ours." Robert is efficient, prompt and courteous. He always responds quickly to text messages and emails, and will let you know when he is unavailable during the day (due to meetings or whatnot) so you are not left hanging with no response. He is knowledgeable in all areas of purchasing and selling and writes an EXTREMELY tight and complete contract. Once you are in the heart of a purchase, he stays on top of everything going on with the sellers throughout the contingency periods and keeps you informed. One of the traits I envy about Robert and think is possibly his greatest asset, is his ability to negotiate, disagree and converse and yet still be the most likable guy in the room. In the last 2 offers we put in on homes, we lost the first and purchased the second, and my impression was that both realtors very much wanted to work with him and come to a deal. He might really be the nicest guy I know, who won't take crap from others. He doesn't pressure you and is a firm advocate of finding the right house for you. We just closed on our new home and Robert was our agent. We entered the realty market a bit naive and out of touch as we had not purchased a home in a few years. We quickly learned that Glendora was a competitive and fast moving market related to it's great schools and family oriented community. We met many realtors at the countless open houses we walked through. All wanting to be our agent and some wanting us to sign an exclusivity contract. Robert never asked for anything. He worked tirelessly to find us our home! My husband is , let's say, a bit high maintenance but Robert was always available. Answering a text late in the evening and even early one Sunday morning. We felt like he was always available at all times.
